Wisteria

Help!  My Wisteria seems to be dying.  Has this white moth anything to do with it?

Unlikely I think. Looks more like lack of water and/or sun scorch to me.

I'm afraid that trellis is far too flimsy to take the weight of wisteria, they are seriously heavy and rampant climbers as per the pic.

Its an ermine moth, one of four common species.  They spin webs  but are generally regarded as harmless.

Give your wisteria a massive drink - 20 litres to start with poured slowly so it soaks in.  Repeat daily for a week then twice a week till autumn unless you get a serious downpour.   Assuming it recoers, you'll need to keep watering it through any hot and dry spells for the next few years till it gets its roots down deep and can cope.

You need to give it some strong supports so I'd suggest you remove that trellis and put in some strong horizontal supports.   My two now have trunks as thick as trees and self supporting horizontal branches but it'll be a while before yours gets that far.
