Tomato leaf problem

Hi… can anyone help me diagnose this problem on my tomato plants… I’m attaching a photo of the worst offender, I did think it was the only one but on closer inspection it seems the others are suffering too although to a lesser degree.

Looks a bit like the compost was contaminated with weedkiller.
  • That’s what I thought to be honest. I suppose I should bin the lot? I wouldn’t dare eat the tomatoes now!

Do you have a thermometer in the greenhouse?  Have you an idea of how hot it’s been in there?  My initial thoughts are that it could be heat stress.

I agree with @Dovefromabove if it was weed killer they wouldn’t have grown to the top of the greenhouse without showing signs before,  they would have died as small plants when they were weaker.
More air,  more water and hope for cooler weather.

  • Hi.. it’s been pretty hot but not too bad as I’ve painted shading on the glass. The plants are all really tall now and are only just showing signs of something not quite right (apart from the one in the photo)
i’m loathe to throw them but if it is weed killer then I’ve got no choice?

What do the lower leaves look like?

There's no rush to get rid of them and I'm inclined to think it's not weed killer either, so why not carry on caring for them and see what happens.
If they have been affected by weed killer they'll get worse.
    If they haven't they'll recover.

    Whereabouts are you @Heather120?
How are the plants growing - ground or pots?
Where I am it's been hideously hot, so the toms in my little growhouse have had the top 'lids' open and the doors, and then shading hung across the door opening to stop the temps getting above mid to high twenties, which it can easily do.
Even on cooler days, the tops are open. It's easy to assume it isn't that hot in a greenhouse of any kind, but ventilation is vital  :)

Even with two vents, door open and cool glass my greenhouse has reached 30° on three days, it has made the leaves curl , even after extra watering. These hot days are hard to manage.

I can’t see how they can suddenly be affected by weed killer,  who would have done that in the posters GH. after all this time.
They’re curling up their toes in the heat,  bit like me 🥵
