Lightweight gas weed killers

Has a has anyone got a recommendation/opinion on lightweight gas weed killers please?

    They burn the tops off , but the roots of dandelions and all the other pain in the bums come back.

    In addition, the gas canister very quickly loses pressure, so you end up standing over individual weeds while the shrinking flame flickers about...  and as @fidgetbones says, even when operating on a full canister, only the tops get burned off - in my gravel drive, the roots seem to be kept cool by the gravel and the daisies etc spring into growth again after a week or so.

    I guess if you just have one or two small weeds they might be effective...

    Sounds a bit dangerous to use in a drought.

    Threw mine away, useless.

    I use mine to start fires but, as said above, the roots will still be ducking down... waiting...
    Useless as a weed killer but great for burning stuff.
