🌱 Seeking Participants for Biocontrol Survey! 🌿

Dear respected forum members,

We humbly request your participation in our survey on biocontrol methods in agriculture. Your expertise and insights are highly valued in this important research endeavor.

I am a marketing student currently working on my master's thesis, and I have chosen the exciting topic of biocontrol in agricultural practices.

We want to understand your perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors towards using natural methods to control pests and diseases.

Your input is vital in uncovering the potential of biocontrol and its impact on crop protection and environmental preservation. Rest assured, your responses are anonymous and will be used solely for academic research.

  • I didn't confirm with anyone. I realize know i should have, sorry if this seems like spam it really is just to get insights for my thesis. If it's not okay I will take it down no problem.

Confirmation bias..... Peoples tendency to process information by looking for answers that confirm what they already believe. I quote this from a thread a few days ago.

I've completed your survey @gemma.crossley but bear in mind that when you ask the choir, you get singing! 🤓

This is also on other forums , how odd !
  • @arneil I'm trying to get the maximum visibility and so posting on other forums to do so. I hope it doesn't come across as spam.
  • @plant pauper I agree that you see it like that, but I guess I'd like to see the trends through this survey...

Not odd, @arneil, if @gemma.crossley wants as many contributions to her Master's research as possible.

Nice to have a properly thought out & well-constructed survey to fill in.  Thanks, @gemma.crossley - hope you get a lot of participants.   :)

Apart from manual weeding and pest control, I'm not aware of using bio control. Most of the compulsory questions assume that I use it so had to clear my answers as there was no appropriate option for me.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I did ask if you’d cleared it with the admin @gemma.crossley … we do get a lot of spam on here … especially first thing in the morning. But then I had a re-think and deleted my post … sorry if I caused consternation. Good luck with your Masters … those were the days 😎
