Canna Durban

Hi can anyone possibly identify what's been nibbling at my Canna Durban leaf. Oddly it's only on the one leaf.

    Slugs, probably when leaf was still rolled up, so one little nibble grows into a big hole.

    I thought that at first but the leaf had been open for almost a week before these bite marks appeared.
