Sadly I have not been up to the Cairngorms this year, so I haven't experienced the weather changes. I should have been on Mull now, but getting old is no fun.

@punkdoc Thought it might bring a smile on a hot day when you wished you were somewhere cooler and beautiful. Never sure if I am repeating myself!

I've just added a few pix on the world wide walk thread @punkdoc, so that might cheer you up a little too.  :)

They're now having to address problems in the 'gorms with folk and their damn camp fires. The wildfire problems this year have been widespread, including in the Campsies - hard to believe. These idiots won't be happy till they've destroyed everything, everywhere they go... :|
Hope you improve and can get up here again soon though.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thanks @Fairygirl, I saw those and loved them, particularly the Ring Ouzel.
Sadly I now need new hips, so it might be a while till I'm back. Please keep them nice for me.

    I'll do my best @punkdoc.
Good luck with the hips. You need those in decent shape for doing a bit of jigging. Elton's managed it not too badly for gigging if not jigging...  ;)

Apologies @qv9cmvkjnkKbX8UYqD - we got slightly side tracked   ;)
