Euonymous - I think but which one please?

Can anyone tell me if this is an EUonymous please? It has started to develop white buds. Last month many of its leaves fell and felt dry. I need to know it's watering requirements, but without knowing it's identity, I am not sure. It grows to about 11 foot when I don't prune it. Thankyou.

    Yes it looks like it.
There are lots of varieties and some change a bit over the years.
Yous might be Euonymus Duc D'anjou

I've got a few and they seem fine even in a drought.

But I'm sure it would appreciate a good soak now and then

Thanks @Pete.8 that is really helpful. It has shed less since I began watering, so I will keep an eye on the watering and check the variety you mentioned, it sound very noble!

Sometimes they lose leaves due to euonymus scale, so worth checking some of the stems for the scales - they look like tiny brown limpets and if you lift one it looks like cotton wool underneath, but it's eggs for the next lots of scale insects.
