What am I growing here?

I seem to be growing some weeds with tiny pretty flowers. One's red, the other a blue/whiteish colour.

What are they? Can they stay, as they are in a currently empty spot, or will I regret not pulling them up immediately if I leave them?

The blue one could be ground ivy. Can't see the red one in enough detail...scarlet pimpernel?

I agree , try to get the ivy out but I never will,  it’s wrapped around the roots of everything now.

Just had a Google of those names, scarlet pimpernel looks to be right for the red!

I don't think the blue is ground ivy though, the leaf isn't right and its too purple. This is blue/white.

The one on the right is a Speedwell (Veronica Persica) I have it in my garden and it’s easily pulled out if it becomes a pest but will self seed readily so you may end up with a lot of it.

The other looks like Scarlet pimpernel (Lysimachia arvensis) I’ve no direct experience with it in a garden setting but I believe it can be invasive if left.

One of the difficulties of growing indigenous species in the garden is the improved soil fertility and space provided as opposed to all the low fertility and vicious competition plants face in the wild. A lovely wild flower struggling through the plants on a grassy verge can become a rampant tyrant, determined to turn your garden into a mono-culture.😁
