Help what is this?

Sold to me as Hydrangea Aspera Robusta but I don't think it is. Can anyone identify it?

    I think it could be,  not a very robust specimen though. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    It looked very healthy and not all the colour or leaf texture of an Aspera (though not Robusta) I used to have. Images online don't seem to have the coral coloured leaf stems but maybe young plants are different? It looks very like an actinidia but I am told their leaves are not in opposite pairs but alternate.
