Help what is this?

Sold to me as Hydrangea Aspera Robusta but I don't think it is. Can anyone identify it?

I think it could be,  not a very robust specimen though.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • It looked very healthy and not all the colour or leaf texture of an Aspera (though not Robusta) I used to have. Images online don't seem to have the coral coloured leaf stems but maybe young plants are different? It looks very like an actinidia but I am told their leaves are not in opposite pairs but alternate.
