Cactus Drooping

I have a cactus 🌵 that I have had for about 5 years and it has always stood up straight, but now it’s not looking 👀 well. I have it with a saucer that has gravel in it and also in the top of the pot. I only water 💦 it from the bottom about every two weeks and spray lightly every other day, especially in the hot days we have experienced lately.

I have repotted it about 2 years ago into the pot it’s in now. Please can anyone help with it and help me get it back to its original straight shape.

Put some supports around it. It may want to droop and crawl anyhow, some (Mammillaria) do.

This happened to one of my cacti and I was told I had repotted into too big a pot. I didn’t repot it though I just gave it support and it still flowers every year.

Thats ok, but what do you use for support. When I have read up about growing cacti I have found that the cacti need room to grow their roots has they don't root very deep but the go out. I don't know really, I am a complete amateur when it comes to cacti :)

Many types of cactus and euphorbia naturally lean, and some crawl horizontally along the ground. Yours may be one of those?

    1.  PUt it in corner
    2.  Gradually push it into the corner so that it becomes straighter,  A cushion of tisssue may help
    3.  Support it with 3 canes
    4.  Spine-proof gloves will help.

Cacti are happiest in clay pots. Think of repotting when it is eventually vertical. I would water from above but make sure no water stays in the saucer.
