@TheGreenMan - phacelia is a plant usually sown as a green manure. Farmers here do it a lot as a rotation in their arable fields and we get a lovely sea of blue. i have some seed to scatter in a "meadow" area in our veg plot to attract pollinators.
You could try sowing some in trays and then planting out the seedlings when they're big enough. It's supposed toself-seed liberally so you'd need to be sure you want it.

It would have been a small plant though, and I'll have grown it on a little before planting. If you can get it now, it's certainly worth doing. I'll be collecting seed though, so it'll be interesting to see how that does, and if it comes true, I can always send you some.
