    when is it ok to do so? I have a lot of self seeded ones (never successful with my seedlings, then suddenly one turned up and has self-seeded).

    I would move them at any time [ within reason ] when they are large enough.

    I pulled a hosta out, so ground was well turned over and sprinkled away. I hoping some make it.

    People moan they have so many seedlings, I thought they'd take easier lol.
