Pruning Plum and Greengage

Would it be too early to start some of the pruning now? There are some branches that are getting to be in the way and I desperately need to start thinning out the fruit.

    I think June is the ideal time to prune prunus 👍 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Excellent 😊 Normally I wait until mid July but a couple of the branches are virtually poking my eye out when I walk past and reaching the plums is not easy!
