Mushrooms in my veg patch

Was shocked today to fine these mushrooms amongst my onions. must have been the rain over night as none there yesterday.
Can any one tell me what type of mushroom they are and can you eat them

    I doubt they are mushrooms but there are several types of fungi that will appear them disappear. No need to worry about them.
    Edit.
    Unless you have put a load of horse dung in your veg patch,  they could be mushrooms.  It’s a bit early though,  we usually pick them nearer to September time.

    Tge stem is typical of a mushroom, but the top is almost flat but slightly like an upside down umbrella

    Plenty of mushrooms grow in my garden when I use spent mushroom compost but I'm not brave enough to eat them!
