Heuchera leaves going brown

Hi everyone, back again with yet another question!

I have 2 Heucheras, “Glitter” and “Ginger Ale”, in one of my large raised beds, and they were doing brilliant until recently, the leaves have started to go brown like this:

Some of the leaves at the bottom of the plants have went totally brown as well.

Does anyone know why?

I’m in northern England, and it’s been warm and sunny for weeks on end, with days and days of no cloud, could they have had too much sun?
This raised flower bed gets full sun, well draining and watered when needed at the base of the plants.

Thanks in advance!

Possibly under-watering? In full sun they may need buckets of water in all this heat. I am having the same trouble with new plants that went in during the spring.

I had one that went crispy from the bottom up from around spring to two weeks ago.

    Turned out to be weevils.

My last Heuchera. I’m not getting any more.

It's just sun damage. Take them off - they'll produce more. Much harder for them if it's very sunny for long periods.
Dry soil is harder for them too if they're in a sunnier site. Good moisture retentive soil is needed if they're in a sunnier position  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
