Wren? Loud trilling is typical of Wren. Like these

I wondered if it might be the noisy b+ggers. I have seen them around the garden. Thank you @redwing
    Edit:
    Googled Yes that's definitely right

  • There's a useful app that comes handy when you want to pin down bird song: https://birdnet.cornell.edu/

It’s better than good ! My sister put it on my phone 2 weeks ago she travels far and wide to see and here birdsong last trip in April to Guatamala, Just this morning sat with a cuppa and the window ajar I picked up 8 birds singing. Jackdaw, Song Thrush, Blackbird, Chiff chaff, Robin, common sparrow, Dunnock and long-tailed tit. Nature to wake-up too ! Oh and my garden alive again after a good drenching here in Wales.

I popped in to visit my old neighbour last week and she gave me a demo of Merlin.
I was impressed that it accurately identified lots of different bird songs in her massive garden - and it's free.

It's worked well for us here too :)
We knew some birds' songs already, but there are others we hear that sing from the trees or shrubs that we never see to identify; or others that are just too far away to be certain of ID.
One of the first birds it identified was the marsh warbler which was singing incredibly loudly, but nearly always at the same time as blackbird and chaffinch so the songs blended. An LBJ, so usually invisible too, but we caught a fleeting glimpse of it once!  Plus it has ID'd  the calls of some birds that we know we have living out in the fields but rarely see. It also confirmed the presence, at least once, of a couple of others that logic suggests should be here, as known to be in the vicinity or that match the terrain, but never been seen or knowingly heard by us.
All add to life's rich tapestry!

How strange. Worked for me. It’s wonderful.
