Hi
As I'm weeding this bed I'm finding more things that look familiar but which I don't have names for, like this one....And the pic is the right way up - hooray!!

No longer newish but can't think of a new name so will remain forever newish.  B)

That's Heuchera--looks like the species, Heuchera sanguinea. Lovely flowers!
  • Thanks! I knew I'd seen the leaf shape before, but I've only previously had bigger ones with purple leaves and I didn't associate that with this smaller version.
The whole bed is swamped with vetch, plus couch grass. I feel bad digging out a lot of the vetch because the bees love it, but I have several wild places where it can go instead - not that you can ever get it all out anyway.....And as for the couch grass....the less said about that, the milder the language remains in the garden!  :#

If you take the photo in landscape it will be the right way up,  the site doesn’t like portraits.

That does seem to be the way it works, which is fine when you can fit your plant into landscape. Someone else said that if you crop the image slightly then it will come out the right way round. Seems it's a bit temperamental sometimes

Yes it will,  if you have to take it portrait,  stand back a bit the take off the top and bottom.
