Mushrooms appeared a week or so ago in soil poss on/near a log

The area is quite shady, I have been watering the area as there are new plants nearby so the soil is quite damp. Could it be growing on the logs that I bought last year ( marketed as log sections for fire). Could it be honey fungus? Thankyou.

I am wondering if Mycorrhizal funghi could help? ( I have a sachet of it). Would it be a good precaution to sprinkle some near and further around the area that I am seeing these mushrooms? Also, I read that honey fungus is evident -as mushrooms - in the autumn, but presumably they can be activated in summer too if conditions are right?

Those don’t look like honey fungus to me.

Thank you very much @Dovefromabove:) , I think they may be gelatinous as per your link. I will try to get closer when the light is right and might consult @steephill for further info. I feel like I am forever posting about funghi!

They don't look like honey fungus but some better photos would be a great help for ID. If you can get some photos of the underside of the cap showing the gills and how they meet the stem that would be ideal.

Thankyou @steephill. I cannot get very close at the moment, but will try again. In the meantime, when I had a look today, the two mushrooms side by side have different complexions. My photos don't really show this too well: edited to say the photos are worse than I thought. Will there's always be gills? I cannot see any so far....
