New laurel hedge

Hi all, I planted 42 laurel plants about 60-70cm height in April. Seem to be going ok but just wondering would it be ok if I take the new growth off the top to get them to thicken even though they’ve only been in 8-10weeks? Thanks for help havent a clue lol

Everything you'll need to know about laurels here:

They probably won't need any nipping out at the height they're at, as long as they're healthy plants and have been put into suitably prepped ground  :)

If you're unsure though- a photo or two will help with advice.  :)

At 2’ tall I would pinch out the tops.
