What is this?

Just been trimming a hedge and noticed this.  It is quite sticky both to skin and clothes.  I tried searching on Google images but came up with many different answers:

Is it anything to be worried about?

Pull it up as much as possible otherwise the seeds will go all over the place...mostly on you who then carry them to other parts of the garden.
