    Can you show us some photos of your clematis please?  

    Do you know what sort it is?

    Can you tell us a bit about where it’s planted?

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Photos will certainly help, but new shoots are very vulnerable to slug damage.

    Or r*ddy cats sitting on them, and wrecking the whole plant that had just recovered from the earlier freeze in March,  which has just happened to a newer one of mine. 
    Can you tell I'm not very pleased.... >:)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
