White flowering shrub

Can anybody identify this white flowering plant/ shrub which has just sprung up in my garden. About 5 feet tall currently

    That looks like a Philadelphus. Should smell lovely.

    Thanks Ceres, I think you’re right. It does smell nice, unless I’m confusing the smell with a nearby Wisteria 😂
    We haven’t noticed it before this summer and now the white flowers are coming out.
