That's good, you can't have 'cool and humid ' haha. We've had a few showers, 👍 fine rain now.
  • Hi @Nanny Beach, I hope you are doing well! I have another question for you. I've noticed some little creepy crawlies in the soil in my orange tree's pot (see attached photos). Should I be worried about them? My tree is started dropping leaves again and I'm looking for culprits. Thanks!
  • Morning, bedridden this week with Covid, they look like a type of earwig to me. I have seen some things similar,we just turfed them out....gave them to the birds. I haven't even been able to read .... thank god for mobile phones!
  • I suddenly remembered, I posted a picture of one of these critters this year, unfortunately I cannot find the post and reply.
  • @Nanny Beach that sucks, I hope you feel better soon.

@pansyface I don't think they are stone centipedes, they don't look the same to me. They are so darn small (about 1cm) and quick they're hard to get a good picture of. There are quite a few living in the pot, I notice several of them go scurrying up the trunk and under the bark whenever I water the tree.
  • That one looks a lot closer to what I'm seeing. I think I will make it my mission to get a better photo of them, lol

It's too bad that taxonomy is falling out of favour, I'm sure there are species currently going extinct that we will never know about :(
