Can holy basil be planted in Canada?

I am moving to Canada next month and I am curious if holy basil can be planted there or not?

    Maybe best to ask on a Canadian site,  this is based mainly in UK so I don’t suppose many will know. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    You can try - it may work.
    It grows all over the place in India, so that's the conditions they like.
    I tried once in the UK but it didn't get to more than about 6" - I got a few leaves.
    Thai Basil grows well here in the UK in a greenhouse

    Depends where in Canada you are , some parts are very cold and it wouldn’t grow in that climate .
