Veg trug advice

I will hopefully upload a photo but I sowed some chives a few weeks back - Do they need separating out or just planted in the trug /bigger pots?

I'm thinking my courgettes are a bit leggy should I plant them deeper?

The rest will come out the trug they are just there to protect them from the wild life (squirrels digging mainly).

I'm in the east coast of Scotland so plants have deleloped slowly. Particularly my first attempt at rocket. If you can spot it. The trug gets sun all day. Maybe the rocket would prefer shade.

Thanks in advance! It's not been the best growing season indoors as I've also had scaffolding and building works so these are my treasures.

Hmm I know you say that that gets sun all day but everything in there looks like it's really struggling for light. The courgetes are not at all happy, glancing at them I would say they need more light, and more feed, the nasturtium in the orange pot on the right is also very short on light it shouldn't look so stretched.
Get the rocket and chives out of there today, neither will be appreciating the extra heat. I would wait a few more weeks and then split those chive clumps in 2 and plant them out wherever they are going to live.
