honeysuckle

I have a honeysuckle quite happily climbing up a frame. It's getting to the top now so can I pinch the tips to stop it?

Has it been flowering at all this year, and if so, what colour/s is it. Or a photo if you have one. There are so many different varieties.
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus
  • Oh! should it have been flowering? Plenty of growth but no flowers. Yet?

Not necessarily, it depends on which type it is. Can you post a photo or two?
  • Slow, do you mean, when it has flowered?

If you have a photo with flowers from last year. But leaves, buds, stems will do.

    A photo now will help.
They're best suited to scrambling over sheds/garages etc or through hedges etc, rather than up a support. Most of them become, or want to become, very large rambling plants  :)

Can we see a photo of the whole plant climbing the frame please?  those are new immature shoots looking for something to climb.

It's nice and healthy, which is good, but unfortunately, as I mentioned earlier, most of them are very, very big plants, which is why they're so good for covering small buildings.
It needs some substantial supports at each side to cling to if you can't let it get any higher. Then it can grow sideways rather than upwards :)
