Advice on what's causing this leaf damage

Any help on what is eating the leaves please? Thinking it might be a vine weevil?  As it's on the blackcurrant too. Thanks!

I think you’re right, that looks like the nocturnal munching of adult vine weevils to me.

Thanks @Dovefromabove So is it hunting at night, repot removing, destroying and replacing all the soil or do I need to buy nematodes as there is a cluster of pots?

I'd check the plants at night first. You'd have to have quite a few weevils to do that much damage. Just remember that the plants the adults eat often aren't the same as the ones that the grubs attack so if you're checking the soil for grubs look in the obvious ones first like strawberries.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I'm have a very large pot with plum tree in and a strawberry in there too, it looked OK yesterday, so hoping it's not in there as replacing that soil is going to be costly. Got 2 other strawberry pots didn't look at in detail so will keep an eye on thanks!

It might be an idea to look at changing the compost in your pots and checking for vine weevil
larvae … apparently they really like soft multipurpose type compost rather than gritty loam, so going for a JI loam based one rather than MPC if that’s what you’ve been using, might be a way forward.
