White spots on leaves

Some of my Calabrese have patches of white (rather than spots) on the leaves. Is this due to the sun, having watered them the night before ?

    I think it’s a bit of sun scorch … probably not related to the watering but more to do with the plants being a bit tender when planted out. It looks as it it’s just affecting the older leaves?  
    I wouldn’t be concerned about that as long as the new leaves look healthy.
