What do you you reckon this is?

It's a tiny seedling, in a pot with some rosemary (you can see the rosemary, for scale purposes!). Any ideas?

    @LG_ Yes I agree they do seed. Known as Leycesteria Formosa or Pheasant Berry
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Oh my goodness, really? I can see it now, I don't think I've ever seen them at this tiny stage. I have one, about 100ft away 🤣

    They don't often germinate so close together.

    @LG_ Not long lived in that it can become very woody.It does need pruning in spring. I would consider potting up the seedlings as a back up?

    I might pot them up for someone else, but I don't need another one. I do always get the odd seedling around, if I need a replacement  - but not this far away, and never seen them so tiny - they're usually a few inches before I notice them 🤣
