    @mathewdavidbrown I know how you feel! It was a learning curve for me too.
    There are some fantastic Sanguisorbas. I mentioned Avondale Nurseries on line earlier great  place for ideas.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    If you only have space for a small Sanguisorba, then Tanna is the only one I am aware of that flowers well. With my first plant I expected some height so S Tanna wasn't for me.
    For anyone looking for another really tall white form S Tenuifolia Alba is a stand alone plant rarely offered.
