Diseased Salvia Amistad?

My local garden centre has some Salvia Amistad (pink variety) in stock. However, some of the leaves are partially brown and look to me diseased. Is there anyone who knows if this is disease or something such as lack of nutrients from being in a small pot for a long time. If it is disease is it treatable?
sorry about the picture's orientation.

I can't see any thing wrong with that specimen.

The large leaf in the middle of the photo is discoloured brown on its lower half as is the leaf below and to the right of it. About one third of the plant's leaves are discoloured.

I can see what look like Sawfly larvae on one of the leaves.

Sorry, looked again, they are stems.

I wouldn’t be surprised,  it’s in a very tiny pot,  the plants grow huge,  once it’s in the ground I’m sure it will perk up.
