Temporary drip irrigation from hose sprinkler - UK
I am just setting up an irrigation system inmy garden that I can use when away.
It is not a permanent system but uses a smart dual valve (plus a safeguard bavkup thatturns the water flow off entirely) that controls 2 sprinklers attached to the dual valve by hosepipe.
One of the sprinklers has a feed through connector that I believe allows daisy chaining of sprinklers. Although I don't need an extra sprinkler, I do have 3 large wall mounted baskets that may be out of reach of my sprinkler range so was wondering if there is any means of using a drip system into these 3 via the daisy chain sprinkler fitting. I would think pressure is an issue, either lack of pressure or indeed too much. Has anyone daisy-chained drip feeds from a hosepipe sprinkler and can they advise on what I would need?

Do you have time to try it before you go?
I have had two different irrigation set ups plus a regular watering tap from the same external tap by using a manifold / multiple tap fitting. Would that be a possibility for you? You can then fit different timers to each tap for the different set ups so the baskets could, for example, be watered twice a day for 15 mins a time and the rest of your plot be watered for (eg) 30 mins every other day.
