@bjspanjers There are many very knowledgeable rose growers on the forum including @Nollie @Marlorena if you don't get a reply you could try posting on the main rose thread. Not my subject but you may be asked some more questions first. Welcome and I hope you get your ID

Marlorena has far more experience and is much better at rose ID than me, Suze! A lot of unidentified white roses that look similar to yours turn out to be ‘Iceberg’ but I absolutely couldn’t say for sure - I only had that rose for a short time.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

@Nollie Iceberg is the only white rose that I know. The flowers in the photo just looked too white to be Iceberg but it does look like photo was taken in full sun. Thanks for your reply.

@bjspanjers You will see Iceberg in the Garden Centres so you could try a comparison.
It would seem that there are variations, experts also consider the thorns and other complex things as part of an ID way beyond my knowledge.

The flowers look rather small.  Is it a miniature, bred for pot-work?  If so it will be outside yhe normal garden rose competence.
location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.

Has it got a scent? Margaret Merrill has a fairly strong scent but the leaves on mine are rounder and shinier
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Thankyou all for your reply it hasn't got a scent as far as I can tell but it has no thorns and it has about 5 buds per stem that all seem to open at the same time
  • I have Iceberg. It is almost thornless ( there are a very few) , has clusters not dissimilar in appearance to yours . Individual flowers are around 3 ish inch diameter when open ( ie not like a huge 5-6 inch handspan rose, and nor a 5cm/1.5 inch noisette type bloom.) I do not get all the buds opening at the same pace on mine, however.
Kindness is always the right choice.

Sounds like an iceberg, then. Some people are a bit sniffy about them, but they are vigorous disease resistant abuse tolerant plants with excellent flowers and a good mixer - particularly the climber. Just no scent
