Replacing sandpit with a waterfeature
The kids really don't use the sandpit, I was thinking of replacing the rotten cross piece and making it into some sort of water feature.

The sandy bit measures 1m * 1.2m
I thought maybe a fountain a bit like the one below surrounded by rocks and alpines. It gets sunshine there till mid-afternoon. Where we live gets crazy heavy frosts (killed tons of plants this year). Hmm what else - I can easily supply electricity to the spot.
I'm really hoping for some advice and inspiration please. I've looked at more modern fountain designs but it strikes me a lot of them aren't best suited to 360 degree viewing.

Water flow is adjustable depending on the power of the pump, not the style of the fountain.
