FiddlingOnFiddlingOn Posts: 84
Would anybody be able to identify this clematis, please? The label that came with it is a completely different clematis. Many thanks for your input.

Bumping up for any experts, though how you tell l've no idea 😁.
Might be worth contacting someone like Thorncroft perhaps?

    Beautiful colour  :)

I'd take a look on Thorncroft or Taylors etc to see if you can find a similar variety. There are so many that sort of colour, and the photos themselves can be slightly different in colour from the real thing that it can be misleading.
Is the colour in the pic accurate?

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

You can narrow down the possibles by using this feature on the Clematis on the Web site to enter tepal and stamen colour, flowering time and so on to do a search.

Thank you all very much for your help! I believe the colour is accurate @Fairygirl although this isn't in my garden so can't double check right now. I'll forward your answers to the owner to investigate further. I'm sure she'll be very pleased with the helpful responses :)
