Help with grafted fruit tree.

Hi, i bought a Victoria Plum tree a couple of years ago. It appears to be growing as 2 different trees; I imagine this is to do with grafting? However, I'm not sure which is the real Victoria Plum?
Any ideas?
Thanks

  • If it's Victoria plum grafted onto rootstock, then the Victoria plum will be at the top, above the graft, and the rootstock will be at the bottom, below the graft, in which case you'd remove any shoots or suckers from below the graft.

    A photo would help...
  • Thank you 😊  I've attached a better photo. Weird thing is, i bought this as a memory tree for my mum.. and she was kinda two different things at once, could be sweet but also very spiky 😄
  • It's hard to see, but I'm wondering if the grafting tape got left on?
