Could any one recommend  a Reed aquatic plant. The would be suitable for a tiny pond. It's in a dappled shaded area

Juncus effusus is the mostly thinly leaved reed that I can think of. It's not the most attractive of pond plants in my opinion.  Does it have to be a Reed?

Equisetum hyemale is much more attractive, and still tall and thin. We also love Phalaris arundinacea Picta (known as Gardeners Garters). It has lovely foliage, and attractive pinkish flower pannicles, but it is very invasive so I would restrict it to small aquatic pot. It's only a thug when planted in the ground.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. The pond roughly 120cm x 90cm x 45cm deep
I trust your judgment, what would be your choice

The dwarf bulrush would be fine, although it depends how shady it is. They like reasonable sun. I got mine from Devon Pond Plants a couple of years ago.
I also have the juncus and equisetum that @KeenOnGreen mentions and both are fine for small ponds.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
