Echinacea Leaves

I have another question I'm unable to find an answer to 🫢 If anyone can help it would be appreciated.
I have grown echinacea from seed and also planted as a bare root. Those grown from seed look healthy enough but I've noticed many have crinkled leaves.  The bare rooted plants (Strawberry and Cream) were moved from their original planting position as they were in the shade. I now have them in a large container but one is starting to curl up and the leaves wilting. I thought it may be an under-watering problem but really unsure. Has anyone knowledge of this happening to them?
Thank you in advance.
Frances

@francesmckeon21 Although they love the sun they are young plants. Could it be stress from sun and heat?
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
  • Never thought of that. Thanks, will put them in shade for a wee while. The sun has been relentless up here for weeks now.
    Many thanks 😊
