    Couldn't agree more on both counts.
  • A practical solution, which has been suggested already, is that if you're composting food waste and don't want rats, then use a bokashi or hotbox approach - a sealed insulated container...

    My son lives in Northampton and his home isn’t overrun with rats .What part are you living in? He says he’s not heard about it .

    I have friends in Raunds,  they’ve never mentioned that either. 
    Bit more to add to the wind up.
