Tomato leaves shrivelled
in Fruit & veg
We have tomato plants in the greenhouse in grow bags. All of them have leaves that are shrivelled (closed up?). My son maintains that it is due to over feeding but I have only fed once and they had closed up leaves before that. He thinks it is the gro bags themselves (with the wrong fertiliser in?). We had no problems at all last year with a mini greenhouse. This one is a 10 x 6 with two auto opening roof windows. I could post pics if that is possible on this forum. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Leaves shrivelling can be done to all sorts of things, so a photo would help.
It's often down to poor air flow, and/or foliage being too near the glass. If there's any sun at all at this time of year, a greenhouse is hideously hot. Toms like warmth, but when it gets to high twenties and more, that's too much for them.

Is your greenhouse shaded ? If not get your greenhouse shaded I use this as its cheap and will do a greenhouse of your size for two years shading. To much direct sunlight through glass and no shading is going to cause damage to the leaves and stress your plants. Shade them and it will remove direct sun and lower the temperature.

There may be nothing drastically wrong with your toms, other than the usual, but a photo always helps. Your location is also a big factor in how things grow, and how well, which people don't always realise. Orkney isn't like Southend
