    Not the easiest name in any language I''ll admit.  People can be very forgiving tho - a chap who came to my house in France to do some work said " I love your accent when you speak French "  !!!!  whilst my friend/neighbour ( who taught English at the local primary school ) was forever correcting my pronunciation.  You can't win really but as long as you make the effort, help is always forthcoming on the language side of life :)

    The young secretaries in Brussels used to swear like troopers in several languages.  Je m'en fous, I learnt early on.

    They would confuse the word merd , which is mild and everyday in French, with the English sh*t.  This is not a word I expect polite young girls to use too freely.
