It might be too dry. How have you been caring for it since you got it?

Mine have finished flowering now,  I cut the whole lot back to the ground,  they grow nice fresh leaves for the rest of the summer.

  • I water it every day and the one next to it seems good which was planted the same time.  It even has a flower coming. See photos. I dont want to lose it obviously.

The photo you have posted is not an Aquilegia.
How can you lie there and think of England

  • Oh! woops! as you can hear I am now to this. Ok thank you for identifying. But why has it got yellow tips on the leaves. I'm worried I will lose it. The one next to it is the same age and all the leaves are green. Any advice is welcome.

Hi Michelle, welcome to the joys of gardening! Just a general tip for watering all plants; aim the water at the ground beneath the leaves, rather than at the leaves themselves. It's more effective, there is less water loss to evaporation, and limescale doesn't build up on the leaves.
I'll leave your agapanthus to the experts though. Looks like to me tbh!
