Subscription costs

Just wondering if anyone has renewed following the increase in fees, my renewal letter stated that due to increased costs for paper and postage my previous price of £52 was unsustainable and would increase to £67.50. I know it’s available for £39.99 so not sure what the letter was all about other than to rip off existing subscribers. I have tried to contact the GW and the subscription company but have had no reply, so with regret have now cancelled as I believe this practice is unethical.

    I had a similar letter last time my renewal was due. I cancelled the subscription, funnily enough a couple of weeks later I got an email offering me a lower price.
