Hi,

I'm a primary school teacher currently re-doing a wildlife garden at my school, I have removed all the thick weeds which were there and am just wondering if I now need to turn the earth before I plant some wildflower/grass seeds? Also, is it too late in the year to be planting wildflower/grass seeds?

    Hi Justin, there's been various discussions on this recently, this is one of them. I would say you're coming up for a good time of year to sow a lot of native plants

    Try and get rid of the perennial weeds that you don't want when you dig, hopefully nothing too nasty

    See what you find on the other thread but feel free to ask any questions that aren't answered there. I can't remember all of it but there's a lot of it. We're still discussing it from timeto time.
