Would these be good to grow sweet peas up on a patio in trough planter?

Well, they're very pretty but aren't really tall enough for sweet peas. I confess I had a moment when I looked at the cost.

Sweet peas usually grow to about twice that height so the trellis would not really be suitable. I like it though, good quality metal supports tend to be around that price. I’m growing my sweet peas up a 6 foot rusted steel obelisk.

There are smaller varieties of sweet pea, but for the usual ones no - they're far too small.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
