Plant to ID please

  • Without the flower to distinguish it from others it could be a number of different plants so I'm sticking with what I said in my first post above. I think it would be worth waiting for the flower before deciding on a definite ID and considering what to do with them. Don't remember finding small parsnips when I was pulling up willowherb in the past.

    Looks more evening primrose-y to me. Even the big willow herbs in my garden don’t look like that. 

    Not familiar with the phlox you mentioned. I’ll have a google.

    Turns out you were right! It is evening primrose, but sadly we have by now pulled most of them out  :/ 
    Moral of the tale being let it flower, as some wise souls have already said......

    No longer newish but can't think of a new name so will remain forever newish.  B)
