Cerinthe Major
I have grown Cerinthe Major from seed - lovely plants now 10 inches high but in the last few days they have developed hard white spot on leaves. I read "online" that "this is normal" would be pleased to hear from anyone on this
Thanks

If the plant has too much water at its roots, the excess can build-up in the leaves and causes 'blisters'.
I don't know that's the cause, but it may be.
It's unlikely to affect the plant in any serious way and it should perform normally.

We have just had a very cold spell - does the weather affect them and cause this spotting?
