Cornus Label?

The main label says suitable for tubs, patios etc but Google says 20ft high. Any advice please?

Perhaps you'll need a very big pot 😁

RHS - says it grows to about 7m x 5m over 20 years, but I note is says 'budded' on the label.
I'm not sure what that means in context, but it could indicate that it's been grown on a dwarfing rootstock - but that's a guess.
Can you see a graft anywhere on the main stem?
I don't have any cornus, but I know many other here do.
Hopefully someone else will chip in.

PS - why not give the nursery you bought it from a call and ask them how big it will get

IMHO it would not be right for a pots.
    Others may disagree.
This is Cornus kousa Miss satomi.
    Perthshire. SCOTLAND .
  • Thanks for the replies to my rather rushed opening post, much appreciated. Spoke to the garden centre where I bought it and they weren't sure what "budded" meant in this context either. However the other label states more information at eurodogwoods.com. That says that it can grow to 2.5m after 10 years which is fine. Maybe it is budded (or grafted) on to a dwarfing rootstock.
    Thanks again.
