Palm frost damage

Any idea what to do with this? It’s a palm that had 5 stems, 4 of which have shed to nothing.
I was think maybe cut them down a bit in the hope they may re-sprout?

Look like Cordyline    many of which have suffered over this winter from the wet/freeze cycle.
If the crowns have gone, you can cut the trunks down until you see sign of life.  They will normally then produce off shoots from the base unless the roots have rotted.
Your pics don't show the actual base but if the grass is growing right up to the trunk, it would be better to remove the grass to allow new shoots to develop.  Just be aware that you may find that you will end up with a multi stemmed specimen.
There are a number of threads on this particular problem - if you put Cordyline in the Search function, you should be able to read the advice/info already given this year :)
  • Thanks I think this happened years ago hence why it’s now multi stemmed looks like I’ve lost 4 of the 5 stems. I’ll cut them down half way might make an interesting multilevel palm? 😂 wait and see I guess.
  • Well I’ve cut the 4 dead stems down at different lengths, I have noticed a lot of sprouts from the bottom, I’m hoping they will sprout from the top again?

    anyone had experience of this?
