I would like to know what tree this is (2 photos) and a plant that I have acquired (first photo). Thank you learned gardeners.

I think the first one is Perovskia.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

My first thought too Jenny. If it is it will have lavender blue flower spikes. Likes a sunny position and free-draining gritty soil. It will go floppy and not flower as well in a richer soil. No idea about the tree!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
